Domestic heating with waste computer heat
The innovative heating system of Cloud & Heat Technologies GmbH is a fireproof safety cabinet containing computer servers which is installed inside the building where the heat is to be used. During the computing process the unwanted heat generated in the server is carried away and stored in a hot water buffer vessel. The heat in the buffer vessel is then used to provide drinking quality hot water for the building. Furthermore the heat can also be used in the heater battery of the house’s mechanical ventilation system.

The 2015 International Passivhaus Conference in Liepzig (17-18 April 2015) represents a gathering of experts and the construction industry from around the world. More than 1,000 visitors from nearly 50 countries attended last year, to network, share knowledge, attend cutting edge lectures and initiate new projects.
